Storage Cleaner is designed with privacy at its core. All photo analysis, duplicate detection, and storage scanning happens entirely on your device. We never upload, access, or store your photos, videos, contacts, calendar events, or reminders on any server.

What we don't collect

• Your photos, videos, or media files
• Your contacts, calendar events, or reminders
• Biometric or facial recognition data
• Your location
• Your Apple ID or advertising identifier

What we collect

We collect minimal, anonymous data to improve the app:

• Anonymous usage analytics (app opens, feature usage) via self-hosted analytics
• App version and device type (for crash reports)
• Crash reports via Firebase Crashlytics

None of this data is linked to your identity or shared with advertisers.

On-device processing

All scanning — duplicate detection, blur analysis, similarity clustering, contact matching, and calendar event filtering — runs locally on your device using Apple's frameworks. No data leaves your phone during the scan.
